Trama

Dopo aver guidato l'esercito continentale alla vittoria nella guerra rivoluzionaria, George Washington ha scioccato il mondo: si ritirò. Nel dicembre 1783, il generale Washington, l'uomo più potente del paese, si dimise come comandante in capo e tornò alla vita privata a Mount Vernon.
