Trama

Il 3 novembre 1996 sedici marinai partirono dalla baia di Biscaglia per imbarcarsi nel Vendee Globe, una regata di yacht con una sola mano attraverso i mari più infidi e isolati del mondo. Dei sedici starter solo sei completarono il percorso, altri sei si ritirarono o furono squalificati, tre furono strappati dalle barche che affondavano e uno scomparve senza lasciare traccia.
